Indeed, many define their "love" for the lost and God by their willingness to "tell it like it is" attitude towards others. But such an attitude is not really love towards others or God, but really, is nothing more than self-love. Such a "love" is harsh and abbrasive. It lacks brokenness and the ability to identify with either God or man.
